Life is not about what you know, but who you know. So, who do you know? Texas State University is home to over 38,000 plus students who are given over 400 plus tools and student led organizations that are designated for student success, school spirit and participation, but are failing to be put into use by our bobcat student community. Why is this?

Our research shows that students are often times either overwhelmed by too many choices, are experiencing non-user friendly applications, and a disconnect in the peer-to-peer relationship. With these major factors, Bobcat Clubhouse makes it’s relevant entrance into the Texas State community market place.

Bobcat Clubhouse (BC) is a new feature to the current Texas State app and the Student involvement webpage for those who seek connectivity, community, and easy involvement. This new feature aims to make the students user experience easier to reach peer-to-peer opportunities around campus. BC aims to aid the Texas State student community in rasing student involvement towards the resources available.

A pillar of Texas States’ brand now can be implemented as a virtual one stop shop for Texas State students. Keeping up with what’s next quicker, easier and more efficiently. With features that involve AI profile personalization, updated mapping features, priority of interest categorization, and direct connection links to preferred involvement opportunities.

Connection, opportunity and unity! BC’s voice alludes to the benefits of a unified culture as a Texas State Bobcat. While BC has a functional and expressive tone of voice, both are used for strategic purposes in brand communication.

BC’s functional voice focuses on the app and website wayfinding for short and clear communication. The goal is for easy access toward student
involvement opportunities.

The expressive voice is used for sharing a passionate and transformative story about connection wherever possible.
